His peak pace might have reduced but he still averages around 137-139 in tests. In this test he looking even quicker.  to his fitness. Natural athlete just rocks up to the crease and bowls 140.

Umesh should be an inspiration for the young Indian quicks. One can easily bowl fast till 35 or 36 if he works on his fitness.

Bro, if Siraj is trying to swing the ball at 135 k and bowls 140 + with the older ball, then it's ok.

 

But what worries me is that he has bowled 135 k in the death overs of LOIs too, which he used to bowl at 140 to 145 k or higher.

I've noticed that Siraj is very selective with his speeds/bowling intensity. As a bowler you should be looking to bowl quick or at your natural pace without complicating it. Even in the LOI's, he starts bowling quick after he's attacked by the batsman. 
Off course there are instances when the bowl is seaming/swinging a lot or when the pitch is super flat. At those times, it's worth preserving your energy wisely and going full tilt when it starts reversing. That was something that Steyn used to do. But thats not always the case with Siraj.

Noticed it, arm speed a bit slower than usual, even during the t20s Vs NZ he wasn't at his quickest.
