They won't play him against strong teams. Yeah the only silver lining will be Unadkat getting smacked so that he’s not there for the next series. 
But what’s more likely is him somehow getting a few cheap wickets later on and being carried over in the next series LOL. They won’t drop a player like him who satisfies all their fetishes even with a semi good performance haha.

 

Dont feel like switching on the tv for this trash. But might if I see more boundaries

Das is a good batsman and this is a quick and bouncy pitch which rewards strokeplay but still that over was consistently over 140 from Siraj.

Siraj I’ve noticed countess times. He only starts bowling with intensity after getting smacked. That needs to change. Gotta work hard on fitness and needs to be switched on mentally if that’s playing a role.

Unfortunately he has gotten some well deserved wickets (not cheap ones) and has bowled brilliantly. Excellent comeback.

Manjrekar, who calls Umran and Bumrah Seamers, and only Phoren Phaast bowlers as Fast, calling Unadkat a Fast bowler.

The Bangladesh test match batting lineup is like a stronger Ranji Team batting lineup with poorer red ball temperament.

 

Real test comes against the stronger test teams.

Unadkat definitely has some strong backers.

 

Both Gavaskar and Manjrekar are sucking up to him big time. Generally, both are pretty critical of newer players.

Unadkat doesn't have muscle to deliver pace, he has lion's heart. He should be a regular in tests. Siraj dropped. Pace is over rated.

There was a phase where I was excited for Indian test cricket with Bumrah n Shami going full tilt in places like Australia. And Umesh with his 90 mph reverse swing on Indian tracks on days 4 and 5. Such drastic change these days. Gotta credit Kohli n Shastri for that (test cricket). I remember even in the IPL, Shastri was looking forward to seeing Umran in tests.
 

But now it’s the LOIs that I look forward to. Want to see a fit Bumrah and Umran bowling in tandem. Dravid n co r probably just looking for opportunities to drop young quicks.  So even that’s not a certainty.

My biggest gripe over the past year has been our inability to make any impact in the 4th innings of the 2 test matches in Saf which was a golden chance for us to win a series there which I blame the bowling for. Do you think Unadkut would have made a difference there with his bounce bowling? He got more bounce than Umesh and Siraj today.
