I don't agree in Australia you need to be taller in places like Adelaide SCG MCG..   Being taller helps obviously. 

In places like Perth it is a luxury. 

Current doctored SA pitches exclusively aid their tall bowlers.  In Wanderers & Cape Town especially. 

They don't host subcontinent sides in Durban anymore as even Past India Pak SL have test victories there.

I do agree we need a ishant replacement however to make it a complete attack. Ishant was doing a great job providing support as a tall seamer. That's where prasidh tyagi will come in.

This is v.imaginative theory on why Ind Pace bowler are doing good in Ind. First they have been doing well eveywhere in tests.

Ind has 5/6 fast bowler to pick from depending upon the conditions. Ind fast bowling lacks a LAF and out and out Express bowler.

But for LAF they are making it up with the ability to bowl over and round the wkts with nearly same pace and same control

Ind spinners can bowl longer spells with lot more venom than visitors letting fast bowler to rest and bowl in shorter and sharper spells.

 

This article talks abt Aus vs Ind in this series, where Aus no. 2 fast bowler was Boland in 1st test and in next there was only 1 fast Aus bowler in playing 11.

 

Outplayed chart also shows SENA teams were nt that far from Ind baring 1/2 instances. which would be attributed to Ind spinners dominance and fast bowler doing the clean-up or picking a wkt here and there

Ishant barely got any sort of bounce in his final days.  He was useless in his last 10 or so tests.  Wouldn't have made a difference in SA.

Ishant wasn't a bounce generating bowler for his height

Yes agreed. I said ishant like bowler. Praisdh would have been deadly on those tracks. We saw how well he bowled in odi that followed in SA. 

 

Blunder mistake by Indians. Also no bharat arun. Ever since he quit everyone has under performed in new zeland and SA.

Exactly. Our oace bowling is top notch. Possibly best in the world but it's our batting that let's us down time and time again. Happened in Oz first test. Happened in nz wtc although not picking red hot in form sirah over chukrah was a mistake too. 

 

Happened in England final test as well. 

 

In SA again pitch got better for batting and all our bozos had to do was bat time and give bowlers some rest. Failed.

wouldn't have made much of a diff anywhere in his last 5-10 tests
