There is a big difference between really really wanting good quicks snd not being reluctant if they are really good.

It not always about the options visible at international level. 

 

But even at that level there are Kuggeleijn, Tickner and Milne who ard all sharp and don't play much.

And Kuggeleijn and Tickner are not good enough regardless of their pace. Considering all are fully fit, they can't play ahead of an attack of Boult, Jamieson, and Ferguson. Kuggeleijn especially averages 30 and 32 in domestic formats. 

Tickner around 35 in both.  Milne can be a decent back up option for Lockie but that's about it.

It's often an issue of trying or not trying to mould the raw talent with objectivity and intent.

Something is wrong...it shows Sandeep Sharma gave 8 runs in 10 overs on cricinfo. In reality he was smashed for 89 runs

Hmmm....  Yeah this is good stuff.  Naseem should stay away from T20s & stick to ODIs & Tests.

Presently one of the best in the world if not the best when there is reverse on offer because he moves it both ways unlike many and has that skiddy trajectory which is always threatening the stumps. 

 

The middle phase skills though are lacking. Needs to develop the wobble seam or the 3 quarter seam to be more effective then and further improve his bouncer which has come up this series but was almost non existent before. 

Because there has been less emphasis on test cricket ever since his debut, his attacking skills didnt develop at the same speed as his defensive skills which I feel are the most rounded when it comes to any all format pacer playing right now. 

 

There is a reason Tait was waxing lyrical about him and not Shaheen in every interview or exchange of his.

Such bowlers (skiddy)  could be under fire in Australia as they don't generate much bounce.  So it will be interesting how he copes up with that.  Needs a mean short ball as well...  as he has good pace. 

He was quite green last time he went to Australia & was bashed around.  

 

He may find success in SA though.  Lateral movement is always there...  And has got that outswing naturally.
