Wanted to keep him like a wonder weapon for the WC.

Hitting the deck hard and bowling fiery bouncers at will. 

 

He has a great attitude.

Bumrah bowls Maxwell with a quick and accurate 142.3 kph yorker. 

 

Was waiting to see this ball for a long time. 

 

Cracking delivery swung away a bit very late.

After the sun has gone down, Bumrah has bowled a lot of 140 k to 143 k balls.  And many of them cracking yorkers.

Bumrah and Siraj did the same. Same with Green.  

 

Now Starc bowling 132 k tk 139 k in his 2nd spell.

 

Good approach in a useless match before the WC.

Ben Sanderson has bowled the best in this match so far ,absolute dibbly dobbly bowler .On this pitch ,at his pace ball isnt coming on to the bat and hence batsmen cant play shots and also getting wickets.

This rajkot pitch was another pace bowlers graveyard,only slower balls and finger spin will work here.

 

If they dont quicken up these pitches then there is not much to look forward to for quicks,all upcoming pacers will be wasted in such conditions.

There is a young bowler named Siraj ud din currently playing domestic cricket in Pakistan. He is a potential express pacer, watch out for him. He was quicker than Ihsanullah in local trials, (over 90 mph) and Ihsanullah bowls 150 kph now.

Another one from KP. All these fast men coming from KP now. 
Interesting to see the pace battle between him, Haris and Ihsanullah in the future.

seems more likely that they will all battle who gets to be injured most often. most Indian subcontinental players (ind, bang, pak) come from poor backgrounds where they have not had proper nutrition and care while growing up, so they break down later

Boult is a surprise for me...

While I have no doubt he is a 134-140 kph bowler, 148kph is something which I never expected from him..maybe 143-144 and that's all.

 

Also, if I remember correctly when Archer burst in the scene..he was regarded faster than Wood. But the way Wood has turned his career around..turning from a 140-145k pacer to a genuine 150+ one is remarkable. No bowler in the world is anywhere near him in terms of consistency in clocking 150k.

Boult's speed on that delivery was a surprise in 2019 also. However the entry is there. It was just a one-off ball. Bumrah's 149.3 was shown as 150 (rounded off) during telecast. The ICC website had 149.3.
