Chahar has totally lost it...  Success got to his head. 

I think Suyash will make it to Indian team.  He has all the ingredients of a world class wrist spinner with every variation like Kuldeep.

Pace of 140-144 with low bounce won't trouble many batters, he is not Tyagi or Sen who will bounce the batters as he lacks height. He need to go back to his 148-152 pace to have an impact.

Too early to say, Suyash is good but still had to go through second season blues. 

Chahar is not entirely out of contention though, he bowled some decent spells in RPL and really went bonkers with bat and power hitting.

Chahar has great chance to comeback if he improves his bowling even by a bit, batting wise he has an edge on Bishnoi

He still bowls in 150s hovering around high 140s with underwhelming approach to the crease

That is rythem and confidence issue,surely he's little shaken

What speed was he bowling now? 140?

You gotta give Umran chances at the domestic level. I don’t care how many runs his concedes, it’s an investment that these idiots gotta make. Pace at that level needs to be rewarded and given special treatment than some other guy who bowls 135-140 that we’ve got dozens in the market.

He’s not gonna get better otherwise.

In fact, Chahar has improved his batting. His big hitting has improved a lot.

Speeds are now shown..but if Krunal Pandya was able to play Umran with ease, it definitely can't be 150. Kunal Pandya struggles vs pace.

Maybe around 140-144.

Bowling has been below average... He needs to improve massively to make it.  Ball is barely even turning for him.  Never had a reliable googly.  His leg spinners used to turn big but not anymore.

Don't think his place will be under threat at domestic level having played for India

 

But having experience of playing alongside likes of Shami,Siraj (not sure he played with Bumrah) and coached by Steyn, he's expected to do better.

 

No one gonna spoon feed everytime, gotta find what works for him

But ,yes guys coming now must seriously look into improving batting as well that can make their case stronger

Next 12months right after WC will be very crucial for guys like Umran,Sen,Prasidh,Tyagi

They need to up the ante now,vacancies will be there as Bumrah,Siraj won't play everything

I feel all these need to have a good to great domestic season

100% agree, Prasidh I guess more or less ahead that the rest. 

 

But yes Kuldeep, Umran & Kartik need to step up their game, specially Kartik coz he has been picking wickets left right and center in domestics and is in the zone where one consistent domestic season will propel him ahead.

 

Then we have Harshit Rana, Hangargekar, Yudhvir, Gurnoor as well who can replace Shardul as no 8.

 

Also as it's T20, there are high chances selectors might favour Bhuvi, Deepak, Avesh or Mukesh as well.
