BCCI shudnt make even swinging wkts..just make true bouncy wkts with no swing..so the trundlers dont get any assistance..those who bowl with pace and bend back should get encouragement...else these unncessary green tops on some venues..gives trundlers opportunity to stat pad at domestics..

divij is a good bowler just lacked a bit of pace which helps in ranji .Height is also good must be over 6ft 2 .

Pitches are up to the home team, most teams prefer the wkt where they can dominate opposition top batters.

 

Green top are easy to curate and can cut down the grass when needed if opposition has better swing bowlers.

Additional green top + Overcast wintery conditions with fog and all sub 135 kmph bowlers will always take wkts. Can not change the schedule as IPL is played during the start of summer season and then when summer fully sets-up you donot want to play FC cricket in the heat

ok then bowling stats should come with auto adjusted delta for the green tops or overly spin tracks.. :D

Thats what selectors, TM are there for, they should be equipped to find/identify high potential player. Either there is a way to weed-out low potential player by some criteria like Aus have or this is up-to selectors( who have good acumen.) to identify the players

 

Aus way is they do not select not-taller bowler to start with, might have heard the story how Deepak Chahar was reject by Chappell and how Elis was rejected by Aus coaches. They kind of have this system.

If you have a group of 7/8 bowlers bowling at higher pace and few of them are tall too then you have all basic ingredients to work with if those trades are not promoted then you will not find top notch bowlers.

 

Some1 here suggested that BCCI should bring high pace bowler to NCA and work on them and work with their domestic teams to give them fair chances and groom them was a v.good and doable idea. BCCI has all the resource to do that.

 

Additionally BCCI should work with IPL team to see if these bowlers can be adjusted to their set-ups.

all they are concerned about filling the selectors state quota..what you said doesnt require a scientist..a common man with a good interest for Indian cricket could also think the same..but our selectors want to stay mediocre..

Open chested action, tall and seems predominantly an in swing bowler. Pace seems in late 130's to early 140's. 

 

Aggression reminds me of Sushant in U19 days, definitely a prospect worth watching for. 

 

Delhi has so much talent in the pool, why they're wasting time on the likes of Divij Mehra.

I think no, he has just made debut...don't think any franchise would have noticed him.

India U19 vs BD U19 WC match today. India U19 always had exciting players but this time around except Aaradhya no other exciting bowler. Not watched much of the batting but even they look boring. How is Arshin Kulkarni? There is a bit of buzz around him.

Chauhan looks very West Indian in his approach to fast bowling. Open chested action.and pounding the deck hard with effort. Bowling both the short balls and fuller balls with accuracy.

 

And he was probably bowling 135 k to 147 k in this spell.

That's all you need. 

Aggressive attacking mindset. Good control and pace between 135 to 145. Need some skills like consistent bounce generating ability and if you can seam both ways then that's the perfect bowler. Seaming the ball is a skill that can be taught later. 

 

Most important is bounce off good lengths, speed between 135 to 145 and the ability to maintain good lines for control.

Bcci haven't identified batsmen lmao or else iyer Rahul and sky wouldn't play for India. Bcci board is quite incompetent lazy and just not savy enough to identify talents. They just don't care.
