Wow such an insightful article...  What kind of bull*it Mhambbrey & co fed to Umran that he can't move the ball at 150k?  No wonder he looked lost & cut down his pace in search for accuracy. 

 

Let's hope he turns it around in IPl & starts bowling full & fast again.  Accuracy was never a issue with him.  All about length.

Great article. Looks like he has got a good coach working with him. Want to see Umran swinging it at pace in IPL. 

 

Former Rajasthan pacer, Krishnakumar had to bust the myth that it’s hard to control the ball when bowling at great speed. “Dale Steyn, Brett Lee, (Jasprit) Bumrah. There are a lot of examples. There are a lot of myths going around. Because he’s a young boy, he listens to all those myths, and it goes into the mind. So, I forced him by sending the videos to think like that (differently). Like, ‘No, I can swing it.’”

 

“When I joined (the J&K team), he was not sure. He said: ‘Sir, I don’t think it’ll swing that much at 150 kph.’ So, I told him and he did it himself. Then, he was like, ‘Sir, it’s happening!’ The ball is moving and he’s swinging the ball both ways now!”

Pitches and too much interference from franchise.

 

Also, he has someone like Williamson as captain in 2022, Markram in 2023 already told that he isnt in control of the team selection, someone else was running the show from the backend.

 

Even now, if Hyderabad pitches stay the same slow and low bounce..Umran will struggle as his deliveries will come on a hitting length after losing a lot of pace.

I had issues with sarfaraz's fitness (which I still have problems with), not his temperament in home conditions. as for patidar, his FC record has been nothing to write home about, and he is quite old as well
