Bumrah has been top class this World Cup. 
Most accurate among all fast bowlers and pace was decent too. I’m sure every country will have him as their number one in their playing 11.

 

Great comeback and the other players held their nerve too at the end. It was a total team effort today.

 

Now it’s time to build the next gen. Mayank Harshit in the playing 11 for all the series henceforth. Someone should put some sense in this moron Agarkar.

Also we were destined to win today. When you keep having opportunities, there comes a time, luck goes in your favor (deservedly). It was only a matter of time.

 

Last 5 overs with both Klassen and Miller on the crease, and still winning has got to be the biggest comeback ever in the finals. Bumrahs over at that point changed the momentum of the match.

I am fine with Khaleel but baffled with Mukesh's inclusion.. he nearly botched us in that Afg T20 the super over one and also got a severe beatdown in SA.

They could not trust Mukesh as a backup for the T20 WC even, despite him being a T20I regular in the buildup to the T20 WC.

 

What is the point of picking such a player ?

 

Even if he does well here, he won't be trusted on the big stage.

It was bound to happen.

 

Coach & TM have decided to reward the "veterans" first...just because they are old and playing domestic cricket for a long time.

 

Avesh & Khaleel both are from 2016 T20 batch...around 27-28 years of age. Has been around for a while, grandpa Mukesh is a 30+ year old domestic veteran.

 

I don't get it where is the vision, from our elite fast bowlers Shami is on his last legs, Bumrah won't play consistently. Siraj & Arshdeep are still prone to get mauled as they're still learning and aren't settled yet.

Rather than playing T20's with Zimboks

I think a T20 series with one of the West European "lands" would have been the right choice.
