if it's really IPL retentions...its a sham.

 

Third series and boy is just not able to get a game. He would have provided an extra buffer with the bat and is genuinely skill ful with the ball at 140ish pace.

he has lost a good 10k of pace,4-5 k would have been understandable 10k not so much

Mayank is as quick if not faster than Umran.

But just like Umran's mind is now cluttered and he is operating in early to mid 140's...Mayank too is going same route.

 

Didn't expect that with Morkel...who himself was a 140-150 bowler in his prime and understands the importance of pace.

He is not running quick as well.

Change in action is fine, but what the hell NCA folks were doing from last 1.5 months when he was bowling 10-15 overs daily allegedly.

Can they not see Mayank's runup is not as oiled as it used to be. 

Freaking Mhambrey is screwing us there as well.

Mayank is still looking very quick visually and is the fastest looking pacer on view.

 

Apart ftom release speeds there are other aspects like seam position, trajectory of the ball, behaviour of the ball after pitching, steepness of bounce etc.
