Akashdeep is more accurate than Siraj, quicker than him, taller too and gets more zip and seam movement off the deck.

 

He should be our 2nd pacer now and not DSP Siraj.

Siraj has reduced his run-up, lost his pace too.

with Shami almost out of BGT..Siraj is now the 2ndmost senior pace bowler in team..so he now has immunity and wont be dropped from Tests..he is now saving fuel in the tank for these 8 Test matches..who knows..

Loved watching Will O Rourke bowling... Man has ridiculous skill & some hit the deck ability.

Will trouble teams for years to come.

Reminds me of Cummins somewhat.

Siraj after 30 tests doesn't even have 3 wickets per tests. He does have 3.6 wickets per test out of India. Now has lost his pace too after reducing his run-up. He is turning into a failed investment.

I watched him in Galle tests man bowled scorching Yorkers at high pace and definitely knew how to reverse it.

Not denying he has natural advantage of being taller.

that Ben Sears guy is taller and pacy too right..

Do we also have to pass that stamenets its not in our genes..

when such a thinly populated country like NZ produces tall and pacy bowlers so frequently..

why cant we do..we do have tall pacers in doemstic..but then just hit 125-130k..apart from Gurnoor

Height is genetics to a lot of extent.

The conditions changed a lot. Bumrah was bowling a good spell around 90 mph. Hit Conway multiple times by his accurate body stuff. 

Someone like Mayank in the first session of the match would have caused havoc. 

Bumrah should bowl some more Yorkers and aim to retire hurt their bowlers lol when they come in to bat.

 

It’s embarrassing the position we find ourselves in against this NZ team.

Siraj is such a f waste of a spot. Bowls at 130-135 mostly with some teenage histrionics in one odd over. 
Out test fast bowling is the worst of all formats right now. One man army

That's the issue with only "2 pacer" attack. Even if one of them decides to take it easy, the job becomes very difficult for the other quick.

 

Situation aggrevates even further if we will have a collapse like yesterday. Pacers start trying too hard to match their counterparts.

Huge difference in speeds between Bumrah and Siraj.

 

Bumrah consistently 136 k to 145 k

 

Siraj 130 k to 137 k with just an odd delivery at 140 k today.

Bumrah needs to try some cracking yorkers and bouncers. 

 

In earlier years we always saw these 2 types of deliveries regularly in test matches.
