Let him stay injury free for a while before being selected.

He was selected in A team against New Zealand, but he was injured.

So the selectors had identified him and were ready to groom him

This is the slowest spell I have seen from Bumrah in his LIFE.

Fastest of 136.5 k and average speed around 131 k perhaps. Entire first over at less than 130.

While in the first test 1st innings, for a long time he was averaging around 138 to 140 k with a fastest of 145.2 k.

Hope he is not carrying an injury.

I saw one at 138. Three day gap between two tests is very less for fast bowlers.

Akashdeep bowls his first spell at 128 k to 136.8 k.

Either there is some issue with the speed gun ( as Bumrah too is bowling much slower than usual ) or he is becoming a medium pacer too.

Hawkeye showing upto 136.5 k.

Agree about the small gap between tests. Plus Bumrah was overbowled on Sunday.

Washington giving the ball a rip. Getting big turn with some of his off spinners with zip off the deck.

Bowling some straighter ones too. Maybe a bit of away drift with these balls.

Tall bowler ... so some bounce.

3 wickets already.

Loving his bowling today.

Getting turn on Day 1. Ball zipping off the deck.

Test bowler Washington born today.

I actually am amazed at his bowling,he has never shown that ability in ANY of the match i have seen him play, the variations in spin and also amazing lines he bowled.
