singhvivek141 Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Harshit will never become and out and out pace bowler. His pace varies a lot...134-135 and then suddenly one at 143-144. Teams like Oman, UAE etc can easily be scared by a quick pacer...Tyagi, Umran, Mayank any one of them had played with full fitness would have been handful here. MK55 and tweaker 2
MK55 Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 I’m curious. Do we not have strict diet guidelines, at the very least for fast bowlers playing with national contracts?

MK55 Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 Bumrah seems to have slowed down. Not a single 90 mph ball in 2 matches? Hes bowling 137-138 with 141k quicker ones.
express bowling Posted September 28, 2025 Author Posted September 28, 2025 (edited) Vs Sri Lanka, Harshit was consistently in the 143 k to 147 k range when he tried faster balls. But bowled too many slower balls and too few yorkers and got hit. It's a shame that someone who was bowling big inswingers at around 145 k and bowled a vicious bumper to hit the helmet, felt more comfortable bowling more slower balls than faster balls on a true pitch which was not gripping. express bowling Posted September 28, 2025 Author Posted September 28, 2025 Vs Bangladesh, Bumrah was swinging the ball both ways at 139 k to 145 k. Bowled really well. Mosher 1
express bowling Posted September 29, 2025 Author Posted September 29, 2025 (edited) Harshit Rana bowled the fastest ball of the tournament for India. Clocked 148.8 kph vs SL. Saw one at 147.0 kph too. Edited September 29, 2025 by express bowling raki05, MK55, tapandrun and 3 others 1 2 3

They're gonna waste best years of Harshit by making him warm bench and play him intermittently in T20s. Let him rip in Tests and bowl a lot of overs. Bumrah will be 32 soon, may pick and choose the games based on his fitness...Siraj too will hit 32 few months after, dont think he will be able to sustain the workload of Tests. Gurnoor, Prasidh, Harshit, Akashdeep should become the next in line pacers for Tests. We also lost Shami, cant afford to lose Bumrah/Siraj as well before waking up to the realitym express bowling 1

express bowling Posted October 1, 2025 Author Posted October 1, 2025 (edited) @Suhaan Your " favourite " commentator, Chetan Sharma, tearing into Gurnoor Brar for conceding a single boundary. Saying atleast 10 times " Trying to bowl too fast ". I am sure Malhotra will outdo him. Edited October 1, 2025 by express bowling singhvivek141, tweaker, Mosher and 2 others 4 1
singhvivek141 Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 (edited) @express bowling Gurnoor has pace, but during his action load it seems he almost slows down to an extent of a halt. Could this be affecting his potential to bowl even quicker ? Edited October 1, 2025 by singhvivek141 bouncers, Mosher, express bowling and 1 other 1 3
