Why can't they take all the potential fast bowlers to a clinic arrange guest visits across the countries have them re focus. Whatever happened to that scholarship which currently serves no purpose.  India needs more and more fast bowlers. One of the biggest contribution of Bumrah is to inspire a lot of players to take up fast bowling> For now they imiate his action. But overall they try to bowl fast.  We need more such heroes coming through to inspire a lot of people. Even girls copy Bumrah nowadays

Right now the issue is not that Ind bowlers does not have pace , but the issue here is pace is not appreciated or promoted .

Line and length should not be a skill but an intergral part , where else its been shown as some kind of skill in Ind cricketing system.

Need to remove those experts and commentators who hates/does not promote pace bowling. Remove sub 135 kmph bowlers who are no good for intnl level.

If you do not promote pace not fast bowling but pace you will keep finding run of the mill no good fast bowlers.

How come faster bowlers not playing in domestic and not getting games....???

There are 36 domestic sides, if somehow Ind makes it mandate that only 140 kmph bowlers makes into playing 11 else they need to be v.tall or bat properly then there will be easily 8-10 v.good intnl bowler present in the system at anytime.

every other system weeds out the not so fast bowlers and promotes faster ones, its opposite in ind cricketing system

Don't think such a rule can be made. But certainly can be done by encouraging them more. We had a emerging fast bowling pool I think

Its because of the pitches that trundlers are preferred. They can bowl longer spells and can remain fit. Spinners are seen as main wicket takers.

Firstly we need a better fitness system that can work with fast bowlers. Currently they spend more time injured

Think they did something like this in the current season, alot of faster bowlers who were on back-burner or not getting chances in playing 11 got it.

Ashok, Mishra, Yarra, Gurnoor, Umran, Sen... etc all got matches most of these bowlers were left out previously.

it not that hard there are faster bowlers in most of sides but they donot get chances. And no one can remain fast for a long time in domestic forget remaining fast when they are not getting chances to play even at domestic level..

yes in ranji's not sure how that can be done , the spinners are main wkt takers and those trundlers are just there to make the ball old and take up few wkts at the top and not to give away many runs..

Yes we need to fast track them. Due to IPL, Umran, Mayank played for India but got injured soon. If they remain fit it will give them more exposure

Sad thing is we don't even use filler bilateral series to play young guys including pacers.

NZ is sending a B team now whereas out attack is Harshit,Prasidh,Siraj. Not one new guy

Due to 3 formats and ICC chewt policy of having main events every year has meant less bilaterals for each format or even if there are ample games ,sides use it to bring maximum gametime to their main unit

Yes,these Odis should have been used to test your bench-next crop

With Rohit and Kohli still there ,they have decided further not to give chances anymore so as to get them ready for upcoming CWC,which is anyway not best of the decisions

Bumrah's strength is his wrist snap. All the other guys run twice faster than Bumrah. Bumrah clocks the lowest among the  run up speed. 18 km/h or something. Others  have 25km/h range. But wrist snap speed of Bumrah is over 70. That is more than Archer's and Starc's. Infact Bumrah's wrist snap speed is the bench mark.

Not talking about her resemblance to Bumrah's action.

The result that I am seeing is pretty impressive. She is looking quicker than most others her age or even age 20+ women.

Definitely loading is much better than some of the bowlers we have now. Renuka for instance

He has been changing action in every 3 months ,not sure which coach recommends that?

There should be a ban on action change attempts. Even action tweaks should be forbidden.

If the action is legal, leave it alone.

These guys if they had got hold of Malcolm Marshall in 1979, they would have tried to make a Bhuvaneshwar out of him. Marshall's action was hardly conventional but was at least more effective than Bhuvaneshwar. Heck it was more effective than Lillee.
