Lone Wolf Posted June 20 Posted June 20 My guess is Prasidh after seeing Gurnoor bowling proper HTD bowling it must have lit a fire under him. Bowling with purpose and intensity after ages. That's what happens why you bring high potential quicks into the set up. Manucrick, express bowling, Mosher and 1 other 2 2

Shami, from 2015 to 2023, has always been 135 k to 146 k. And with that wonderful seam position and skid / zip off the deck, the batters were always hurried. Plus he had a nasty bumper and rising short ball till 2023. tweaker, Mosher and Manucrick 1 2

Forward Defence Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Has Prasidh gotten a touch fuller than his usual length? Has been very successful against Afg Mosher and express bowling 2

Gurnoor raising the bar will hopefully motivate both Harshit and Prasidh to bowl skillfully at good pace. Lone Wolf, tweaker, Mosher and 1 other 4

Actually, it will create nervousness in the minds of bowlers like Siraj who would know they'd need to up their game or lose their place Mosher and express bowling 2
Rightarmfast Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I like Prince yadav. He looks hardworking, has just about the right pace. Yet, I feel he is 5=6k's slower than what is needed in today's cricket.

So the pace pool for 2027 looks like -Boom, Gurnoor, Siraj, Harshit , Arshdeep and chance for 1 more AN express factor -Ashok ? express bowling 1
Lone Wolf Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Gurnoor's pace isn't dropping even in his 6th over. Has bowled few bad balls and some mishits today off him. express bowling 1

Now we need a left armer bowling around 145ish. Arshdeep doesnt cut it for me. Ashok, Gurnoor with Bumrah, and one left armer will be deadly
Lone Wolf Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Gill has kept attacking fields... Barely fielders on boundary express bowling 1
express bowling Posted June 20 Author Posted June 20 (edited) Gurnoor's 2nd spell today is the only poor spell I have seen from him in ODIs and FCC so far. He is usually a very objective pacer but went through the motions in these 2 overs. Perhaps the effect of very little gap between his 2 spells in this searing heat and humidity.
