Really? I didnt see that ball. Although the yorker to Stokes which clocked at 133, Agarkar commented that the ball was quick. Maybe the quickest ball Stokes ever faced in his life.

This is shooting ourselves in our foot. We saw Root score big runs on such pitches in Sri Lanka. Our assets are our pacers. Even Jadeja is out. Yet we prepare a dust bowl and go with 2 green spinners who leak runs and a pitch which handicaps our pacers

Ishant Sharma's plan is perfect to angle the ball in and seam it away. And now the commentators are talking about it too. Thats what I have been stressing on. Can produce results.

You cant bounce the batsman out on this wicket. Only lbw, and to some extent inducing an edge or yorker will work. Very limited options for quicker bowlers.

This is not even a dust bowl. Hardly any turn for the spinners and whatever turn is there its slow and batsman have plenty of time to play it. Its just a boring ass slow pitch which has nothing for fast bowlers or spinners.
