gakgupta Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 When he took lot of wickets in an innings against NZ, i was clear that he was lucky....bounce was helping him..... But now, i have seen some significant change .... He is running in smoothly.. Getting the fingers right behind the seam -- So, getting his seam right no no-balls --- ohhh- I mean only few All good signs ---- can we expect some consistency??
Old guy Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Well this is third match on trot...earlier it took him whole year to repeat good performance lol
BlueBee Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Hope it's something to be excited about. Savour his form as much as you can
Lord Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Well this is third match on trot...earlier it took him whole year to repeat good performance lol exactly:cantstop: hes not gonna get dropped so hopefully hes improved
SLICKR392 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 A thread similar to this is made every 8 months on Ishant.
puneet28 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 His seam position is improved. Not straight upright but still very good.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 tbh, its all about his wrist position. thats it.. He needs to do two things: 1) Keep bowling with the seam in this position that has got him these wickets. He's getting more seam movement, inswing, bounce etc. 2) No legside garbage. He's bowling some good offstump stuff, moving it away. The odd bouncer as well. When he's disciplined, he does well. He tries to do too much when things dont go his way. Now that pressure is on him, he will have to keep it simple. I still think he should be rested in some of the tests as should bhuvi. Need pankaj and possibly aaron
undisputed chap Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 First time i saw him swing the ball. Lets hope he does it for an entire match.
BlueBee Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 His seam position is improved. Not straight upright but still very good. Yeah did noticed that. Good that he's improving.
express bowling Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 His seam position seems to have improved somewhat. Must bowl with effort more consistently.
SLICKR392 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 First time i saw him swing the ball. Lets hope he does it for an entire match. He was reversing swinging it. Usually does it.
undisputed chap Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 He was reversing swinging it. Usually does it. Even so. So happy with his performance.
undisputed chap Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 His quota of performance is over :hehe: Quota will be over when he wins a test match for dhoni as a belated birthday present.
