Texan Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 In the last couple of days, AAP has been fairly belligerent in their pro-Palestine stance. They have posted at least 2 articles on their official website making it very clear that they believe Israel is the oppressor and Palestine the victim. http://www.aamaadmiparty.org/gaza-situation-govt-stand-highly-disturbing http://www.aamaadmiparty.org/aap-statement-on-the-gaza-situation -- Interestingly, among the few international topics that they have discussed, I have never seen them talk about the oppression of minorities and their exponential decline in our neighbor on the western border. On the brutalities, rapes, and forced conversions they face. Selective posturing or appeasement of a certain religious group? :hmmm: Extract from their official site: The Aam Aadmi Party expresses its deep shock and outrage at the sustained and unprovoked attacks by the Israeli armed forces on the Palestinian civilians in Gaza. The attack on Gaza must be stopped immediately. Humanitarian aid to the Palestinians be facilitated immediately, and a United Nations observers team be sent to Gaza to ascertain the loss of civilian lives and properties. Israel should bear all liabilities, full responsibility for the wonton destruction and loss of life. Despite numerous UN General Assembly and Security Council Resolutions, Israel has not withdrawn from the Palestinian Territories annexed by it during the 1967 war. Since its creation, Israel has consistently annexed Palestinian territory. Currently a large area of Palestine has been separated and divided by the Israeli wall that has segregated Palestinians from others in areas not officially Israeli. It is clear that Israeli settlements, intrusions and unprovoked attacks make the division of Palestine into the Gaza Strip and West Bank deeply divided and inevitably facing usurpation of their holy cities, besides dividing the Palestinians into two separate areas. We urge upon the Indian government to publicly call for a ceasefire in Gaza, allow doctors, medicines and all essential goods to get access into Gaza. Israel must compensate and pay reparation to the Palestinians for the extensive loss of civilian life and property. We also call upon the government of India to support the call for an independent Palestine. These demands, specially for an independent Palestine are hugely important and both the Government and civil society must rise to support the Palestinian people and their struggle for justice, peace and independence.
maniac Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Since their ticket to fame of Anti-Corruption has now expire,AAP will try to find the next golden ticket or issue to stay in the limelight....unfortunately Kaangress and many other parties have already called dibs on the minority appeasement issue...won't work :((
Precambrian Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Simple - their assured votebank in Delhi is the major minority community. One that they snatched from Congress.
Number Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Total noobs. Even with Congress we have subtle foreign policies in this matter. No open support, no open opposition for either Palestine or Israel. This has kept our relations with Israel/US and Arab countries peaceful. So these retards need to get their head out of wherever its buried. And its not the naivety either, its clearly for vote-bank politics.

FischerTal Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Israel is a country while ISIS is a terrorist organization. yeah its clear who the retard is here. Who are taking over a country yet AAp stays silent.
gslv Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Israel is a country while ISIS is a terrorist organization. yeah its clear who the retard is here. AAP also took no action on bhusan who said kashmir should be a different country yet aap took no action against him only INTERNAL INQUIRY. saying kashmir as a country is advocating from the sides of kashmir terrorist. Sickular spotted. they only speak the convenient truth. those who cant see through are either dumb or in denial.

One thing to make a stand, totally another to peddle blatant lies that too without the complete context.
randomGuy Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 One thing to make a stand' date=' totally another to peddle blatant lies that too without the complete context.[/quote'] Their minds have been conditioned in this way . they have been made insecure and their right-wing brainwash is complete. When congress was in govt. , it used to try to insert secular/communal issue in every issue , even in corruption issues, to divert the issue as they did not have answers to their corruption. People noted this but unfortunately they are now conditioned to think tht every non-bjp party is the same as congress party. So they wanna think or rather can think in that direction only. so they will give idiotic comparisons with ISIS, Waziristan etc. 1 citizen of Israel has died, they have killed 250(including kids) for that and if the international condemnation doesn't come, they might kill 1000 who knows.

And look who's talking:hysterical: When your party believes it is the honest party while everybody else is a corrupt, Ambani agent. And let's not make ridiculous statements, when it is only BJP who was talking about development for the recent years, while all the rest of parties were struck in the so called secular/communal issue. AAP has completely turned out to be like Congress party, vote-bank politics and a proper idiot as its leader. Israel-Gaza conflict is similar to our own Kashmir conflict and outside interference is not needed. Israel like ourselves have been suffering a lot through terrorism.
Texan Posted July 18, 2014 Author Posted July 18, 2014 250 people including kids have died' date=' hospitals , schools hit in gaza. just saying.[/quote'] It would have sufficed to condemn the violence and regret the loss of life. Going to the extent of asking the government to call for an independent Palestine is extremely immature. Do they even have the slightest clue about how foreign policy works? India has always treaded a path of balance in relations between Israel and Palestine. There is no need to mediate in their affairs just as we don't expect the international community to mediate in Kashmir. Would it make you happy if Israel started meddling in the Kashmir affair and started making blanket statements like Kashmir is an independent country and India invaded it????? And yes, if they can make such blanket anti-Israel statements, then why don't they come out in the open and publish articles condemning the violence unleashed by ISIS? Or condemn the violence and forced conversions on a massive scale happening across our western border? Would that antagonize the vote-bank that they appeal to?
rageaddict Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Kejriwal should promise to send Indian troops to free Palestine from the clutches of evil Yahoodis, that will surely earn him a lot of a secular votes.
Khalpat Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Khujli asking for more slaps it seems.. Why? For taking a stand. In real life do you slap everyone who takes opposite stand?
