panther
That is not true and has nothing to do with beard. Amla has beard and he is very well respected cricketer all around the world. This is because he keeps his religion and faith away from cricket pitch. What Moen did today was unnecessary as there was no point of mixing politics with cricket. This is the difference between Amla and other bearded cricketers (MoYo, Moeen Ali etc.). Maybe Amla's Indian blood has something to do with him being the sensible one. Moyo and moean also have Indian blood. Link to comment

SLICKR392
England to show their support for 'Help The Heroes' tomorrow. Should be interesting to see what ICC feel about that Was thinking the same. Why does it matter what ECB thinks? It's ICC's call in the end. They are wristbands not attached to clothing or equipment. Besides in the article above ECB said it had no problem with it. Link to comment
daryl1985
Just checked the forum that shall not be named. Ummah is fully backing moeen bhaijaan Why are the mods so **** about people name-dropping that forum on here? Don't really get the logic. Link to comment
Sajid_Rana
Massive respect for Moeen Ali. He has the guts to stand up against the illegal occupation and genocide of innocent Palestines by a terrorist illegal country. Good to see ECB backing Moeen in his protest. I wish Indian players had the guts to do the same. Link to comment

Sajid_Rana
why won't he raise voice against Pakistan army for committee murders in Baluchistan and nort Waziristan? Because he supports Pak army action of cleaning out talibans and Afghan terrorists from Pakistan. Link to comment
Super Star
Because he supports Pak army action of cleaning out talibans and Afghan terrorists from Pakistan. innocents were killed in north Waziristan from drone attacks by Pakistan army. Nobody cares? Pakistan lost more innocent lifes compared to Gaza. If you gonna argue Pakistan army doing this to wipe out Taliban, then Israel is doing it to wipe out Hamas. Link to comment

Midfielder
What a scum bag indeed....how dare he peacefully protest against the genocide of innocent women and children. Gone are the good old days when people used to take their oppression lying down. While he is at it why does he not question the creation of pakistan when they ethnically cleansed hindus and sikhs. Typical pakistani, hypocrite. Link to comment

Texan
Clearly a political statement, not humanitarian. A humanitarian statement would read as "Save innocent lives in Isreal-Palestine" or something to that effect. The statement he made had a clear political/religious bias. Link to comment
Midfielder
Can he wear a band tomorrow about innocent sikhs being killed by mulims in Saharanpur. Religion of peace, my foot. Link to comment
undisputed chap
I still can't understand how people believe that religion is worth fighting for. Millions of people have lost their lives, countries becoming bankrupt, entire villages wiped out in the name of religion . It's all a farce for war mongering & murdering people in bulk. People actually follow things written thousands of years ago. It's sickening that people justify killing in the name of religion Link to comment
