Yeah I don't so can you tell me what msd thought was so frivolous? How difficult it is to understand that in any formal process that involves decision making,there needs to be evidence,proof etc. I would rather have jadeja and Anderson have bloody noses and sort this out than trying to make a big deal about something that affects the actual team performance.

maniac Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 The issue is that Anderson didnt get the punishment he deserved. He got away clean despite pushing a cricketer which is a big offense. If an Indian cricketer did it and Cook vouched for it that the Indian cricketer pushed someone, the Indian cricketer would have been banned without question. This is the double standards which exist in cricket. Whole of India(fans),management and bcci stood by bhajji because we knew no matter how obnoxious he could be at times,he was cultured enough not to make a racist jibe and he got away Scott free. When gambhir gave it back to known offenders like afridi and Watson,everyone stood by him and obviously his behavior was clearly captured and hence he got a light fine/ban and we didn't complain because yes it was still an offense but he was appreciated for giving it back. This is just lame to be made such a big deal of....if it is not then a)where is the proof b)in absence of proof why refuse ecbs negotiation.

I support dhoni here for standing by jadeja but his judgement all skills on this has been nothing short of an embarrassment.

Things like racism and corruption are much more serious issues that are investigated thoroughly than physical altercation. Say allegation was Anderson offered a bribe to jaddu or called him a bloody paki,it wouldn't be such an open and shut case would it?

Are you automatically assuming that this is a dhoni bashing thread? This is just to compare the 2 big controversies in recent times during an overseas tour involving India. The 1st one though might have been a false accusation was a serious issue. This one might have been the right accusation but from what we have got so far just seems to be an altercation? But still has been hyped to such an extent that I fear,will overshadow and affect the teams morale in upcoming games.
