Just read this big article. Srini is the true Don. How he awarded people who are loyal to him and changed friendships with muthai, pawar , modi and many more. This article gives information on how he likes to control everything. It seems that he was in control all along BCCI president was just formality. :hatsoff: for pulling it off.

When the Supreme Court barred Srinivasan from the BCCI presidency, it recommended the appointment of two ex-cricketers to hold the reins until its investigation was complete. The former bowler, Shivlal Yadav, had the general run of the BCCI; the former batsman, Sunil Gavaskar, was put in charge of IPL affairs. The appointments occasioned a brief surge of public optimism, but none of it was in evidence in my interviews. Srinivasan’s hold over the game goes so deep that not even the aged or the distant felt truly beyond his grasp if he chose to tighten it. “Every member of the BCCI is at his feet,†an associate of Srinivasan’s told me. “He doesn’t need to be anything to call the shots.â€

DON SREENI He has a heart of gold.. wants only what is best for Indian cricket in future.. that's why he went out of the way to schedule a 5 test series,to show how useless playing tests were today, he walks the talk and how! Now please deliver the decisive death blow on tests and focus on real cricket.

Hate this guy. He is the person responsible for destroying Dhoni and make him the unlikeable person he is today. I wish that long haired young smiling jharkhandi free spirited Dhoni would have never joined this farcical CSK gang lead by Don himself. He would have had a cleaner slate with much better cricket career :nice:

Yeah if Srini wasn't there, I think Dhoni might have turned out even better. At the same time, I am glad that Dhoni is part of CSK. Without him, CSK is almost nothing. He is one of the main reasons we have been so successful in IPL.

That article makes me admire Srini heck of a lot. The guy is one shrewd, sharp and tactically brilliant character. I hate the IPL. But can't blame Srini alone for that. Kapil Dev and Co. for starting that silly other league. Lalit Modi. Etc. Blaming Srini for over ruling the selection committee's recommendation of removing Dhoni two years ago? Seemed like a premature decision by the selection committee. Who would have replaced Dhoni two years ago? Gambhir? Thank god they didn't go that way. Sehwag? Thank god they didn't go that way. Kohli? He doesn't seem mature today. Two years ago? That said, I would not mind Dhoni being removed today.

How on earth do you know any of those replacements wouldn't have done better? Yes thank God they didn't go that way because we would prefer seeing India humiliated again and again and again rather that see beloved Dhoni replaced. Let India be humiliated like we just did, as long as Dhoni is not replaced right? What on earth could have been worse than what we just went through? And do you even have any idea what kind of pressure players who are seen to be Dhoni's rivals like Gambhir, sehwag, etc would go through in this set up? It is obvious they would be under tremendous pressure to prove themselves. Now I have a sneaking suspicion about the loss of form of these guys. Even Kohli

His crony? He has been with India A as bowling coach since 2011 when Srinivasan was not BCCI president.

Bharat Arun is from TN.Was with NCA and then joined TNCA last year.He is a big time Srini stooge. While Sridhar is a Shivlal Yadav stooge. And i need not tell you about Ravi Shastri. BCCI has become a pathetic organisation under Srinivasan.I pray he is removed by the Supreme Court.
