Of course. You wouldn't hear this much as the most dominant voice are the vegetarian Hindus. They will cry most about not letting people who eat non-veg as tenants, etc. But majority of Indians are non-vegetarians. Only difference is, like most countries, they do not eat meat regularly. Some eat once a week, etc as meat prices are still high However, it is also true that many strict vegetarian families have kids who eat meat now. Also in mixed marriages, the next generation will always eat meat

MTC FTW! Last part is frigging right. I have quiet a few friends whose parents are hardcore veggies, but they eat meat, some without their parent's knowing. We are moving on the right path. Long live meat eaters!

I think its cuz for a lot of people real meat is beef. Many americans i know refuse to consider other meat eaters if they dont eat beef regardless of what other meats they eat. Beef steaks are awesome!
