SLICKR392 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Austin bhai- You were gaga over Kohli- Fails in a series and he's not fit to play Test, mediocre and whatnot. Lauds Gambhir- He fails, and now he's past his date, let me switch to Sehwag. Mind you, I'm a far bigger fan of Gambo myself. This is so typical.

Kohli's failure hurts me a lot....I was expecting him to be avging around 55+ by now in test cricket with that much talent. My dreams shattered and to be honest its not looking very good :((:((:(( Pujara I am not too bothered as he only plays test cricket and have enough time to sort his technique. He was not looking that out of sort in England either..just need to fix minor glitches. Kohli plays so much ODI cricket, T20, IPL etc. its tough for him to take sometime and work on his technique. Hope I am wrong!!

Hope I am wrong!! Unlike Pujara, Kohli had a bad start to his Test career, and from there to pick his avg. up to 55 is a huge task. Let him be consistent at sub-high 40 avg.
Austin 3:!6 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 People were over hyping this flat track bully. Some said he should be test captain. Some also say he should be in the ODI team long back. This guy is nothing but a flat track bully with a big technical glitch. Can't even score against div 2 trundlers. Errrr :orderorder:

vvvslaxman Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Pujara grew up on super pata wickets. He needs time to adapt
maniac Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Pujara grew up on super pata wickets. He needs time to adapt I think ROhit should play Sheffield shield....Fish IN Water scenario for him.....Tailor made pitches for him.. considering we tour their shortly and the World Cup....

KP had suggested this after the Test series. Both Pujara and Kohli should play some Shield games before the Aus tour. And Rohit..meh

Forgive my ignorance, but do Australian state sides even play foreigners? :hmmm:
maniac Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Forgive my ignorance' date=' but do Australian state sides even play foreigners? :hmmm:[/quote'] I can vaguely remember in the past few WI and Pakis played Sheffield Shield cricket.....Not too sure if any Indian played Aussie Shield cricket. Amre and IIRC Kambli played South African domestics for a while
Cricket_Hacker Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Ravi shastri was invited to play in the shield but couldn't
vvvslaxman Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 They will come around. Kohli has an excuse of playing too much ODIs where you play the ball more than leave the ball . But Pujara has no such distractions. This is all he got. Rightnow moving balls are his problems. He plays the line rather than waits for it. Needs lot of hardwork. Kohli's problem is just one.Much easier to fix. For a start all he has to do is play with soft hands. Edges won't carry. Kohli's main problem is not going big in Tests.
undisputed chap Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 He's up against Indian bats on Indian pattas. No contest. What indian batsman. Lost so many wkts on non spinning tracks in england to mo ali. You are still under impression we have the best batsman in the world. Just like pakis thinking they have the best bowling attack in the world & junaid is future ATG. In england only vj averaged a respectable 40. Rest sucked balls. Believe me the same problems will continue in india as well.

Cricket_Hacker Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Windies have a much better team than the last time.. Benn,Roach,Taylor, are a much better bowling attack than Sammy and Tino best

Cricketfanatic Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Pujara three 4s on the trot ! 24* (19 balls ) Hardly have I seen him going at a strike rate over 100 in even one days and t20s.
SLICKR392 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 OT: I am new here. What does greenie or green light flashing mean? Sure. Chepu 35 (40)
