Cricket_Hacker Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 The West Indies players have abruptly called off their India tour over an ongoing payment structure dispute between the WICB and WIPA. The fourth ODI in Dharamsala will be the last match of the tour. A senior BCCI official confirmed the development, saying the West Indies team management had informed the board of their decision earlier in the day. According to the BCCI official, the board is trying to find an alternative team as a replacement, with Sri Lanka being the favourite.

kubrickian Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Even though this shouldn't have happened, Sri Lanka are a much better test team and are good in SC conditions and its been a while since India played against them in tests too. It would be a better contest than against West Indies.
