Kadesh Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 BCCI can go F***K itself the most filthy corrupt and backward organization on the planet. Nobody has any respect for the scum that run it. They make me physically sick.

kubrickian Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Serves WICB right for not even paying their players. If you think BCCI is corrupt, WICB, PCB, SLC are 1000x even worse who make money through their players and rob the money they deserve to get.

Kadesh Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 ECB are white snow. This could be the end of West Indies cricket. Clearly the BCCI does not give a S**T just wants to force them out of existence. The ECB have never threatened to do something like this.

The ECB have never threatened to do something like this. Only because no one left them in middle of a series. I would love to see how ECB reacts. ECB, CA and BCCI all run cricket like a company they only understand profit and loss. Also WICB is not saint either I been hearing problems between WICB and westindian players from past 10 years or so. Also they haven't sued them yet they are just showing what might happen if they leave. So we will have to wait and see.

The ECB have never threatened to do something like this. WICB should have thought of that before screwing their players of the money they deserved to get. Even WI players think WICB deserve the treatment because they withdrew from the tour on purpose - to piss off BCCI so they will act against WICB.
Vilander Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I think the best years of cricket is past us. Its downhill from here.
Zap_Brannigan Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I think the best years of cricket is past us. Its downhill from here. Absolutely...Cricket should go back to its hey days of the 80's when Indian players would steal socks in England because they couldn't afford them or the best players abandon their countries to play in the packer series. Maybe its the 90's you are talking about..the time when match fixing was rampant.

So you think cricket will be better without a West indies team? No gayles, pollards, etc etc?
moniker Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 As an isolated incident it does look fair - After all there'll be huge losses and the BCCI is entitled to receive some compensation to cover those losses. But let's consider if it was the other way round - India pulling out of a tour and the host country takes legal measures. It might get compensation in the short term, but will it stand a chance to take any part at all on future cricketing endeavors? Probably not, it'll get destroyed.
Kadesh Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Here's another question, what would have happened if South Africa had sued India over the tour last year? They lost money because of that.
Laaloo Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 That's a **** load of money for basically 1 odi and 3 tests
JaFanatic Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Deserve whats coming on their way also should sue the players as well for making them look like fools. You abandon an International tour via an email ? :WTF: They should not have travelled to India if they had it in their mind before the start of this tour if not then why not finish this tour and go on with your strike instead of causing losses to the third parties ?
Cricket_Hacker Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 LOl at people bashing this.WICB deserve this

They make me physically sick. That keeps you on the balance. Mentally, and now physically sick. @Topic Since when is leaving a tour half-way a pleasant thing? Zimbo players refused to practise, not leave a series in between. I don't believe this has ever happened before. At the end of the day the team is representing the West Indies. Shameless from the players and the board, if indeed they are involved. Fair penalty to have they have caused although they could consider keeping it aside for now.
