I believe it's more than an assumption. I seem to recall that ICC regulations state that the boards are required to select the best team for international matches. Again, that can be construed as best available team, rather than best team.

The ICC regulations do not really matter - there is a criteria for "good faith" operations.

Remember Clive Lloyd questioning the timing of Sunil Narine's getting called for chucking? He was clearly hinting that the BCCI was trying to weaken the opposition in the upcoming series by getting rid of a key player using its undue influence over the umpires. If I was a BCCI honcho I would have gotten really mad at this accusation!

BCCI is not Bangladesh cricket board that they will take wtv is thrown at them. Just cause WI was able to do it to them doesnt mean they can do it to us an walk away without any scratch. WICB needs to straight their sh*ts up. These players kinda screwed it up for the future generation players and just shoot themselves in the foot aswell. Both sides are morons. Out of all the series, they choose our board to screw around with, the genius in that team lacks a brain.
