Spiderguy252 Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 They are good batting pitches. If India gives such pitches to Aus at home' date= they will give us a huge challenge, but our pitches are not as batsmen friendly as people think because they offer turn from day 1. We will not. Life for Australian cricketers isn't as easy as they think and as they find out the hard way from February - November every year.
Straight Drive Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Wait till Aussies bowl. It will seem like a mine field after we end up losing.
Vijy Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 SCG can, and probably will, begin to break up. Our 4th innings should be fun!
Spiderguy252 Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Wait till Aussies bowl. It will seem like a mine field after we end up losing. Says who? If we get bundled out it'll be because of our own stupidity and nothing to do with the highway out there. I expect us to score at least 300, and you can't do that on a minefield.
CG Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Wait till Aussies bowl. It will seem like a mine field after we end up losing. :hysterical: hearing the same for last few tests
vvvslaxman Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 SCG is traditionally a good batting strip. India have piled up like 600/4' 708 . Even the only draw in 1992 at the act came at SCG. Shastribotmmade 206 sachin made 148.
Guest Susan Mary Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Its very obvious that Australian will have the advantage of home ground and they know how to ball on their own pitches. Its the other teams that have to put in the effort and get to know the tricks and tip on how to ball on Austrian pitches.
adi B Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Pathetic pitches!! Never seen mcg so flat and now Sydney is just another uae type wkt. Just imagine how many runs will be scored in the wc!! Good for the Indi an batsmen though

brendan07 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 There was some seam movement early (Shami in particular). How can we tell if there was anything when Yadav and Bhuvi were bowling full bungers and half trackers. Ashwin and Raina got turn.
BlueBee Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 :hysterical: hearing the same for last few tests +1
rkt.india Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 There was some seam movement early (Shami in particular). How can we tell if there was anything when Yadav and Bhuvi were bowling full bungers and half trackers. Ashwin and Raina got turn. Bhuvi bowled in right areas. Check his pitch map.
brendan07 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Bhuvi bowled in right areas. Check his pitch map. At 125kmph, slow medium trundlers are never going to do well. Watch Harris do what Bhuvi did at 140kmph.
BlueBee Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 At 125kmph' date=' slow medium trundlers are never going to do well. Watch Harris do what Bhuvi did at 140kmph.[/quote'] Harris won't do jack, the pitch is that bad.
brendan07 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Harris won't do jack' date=' the pitch is that bad.[/quote'] He will bowl in the right areas. You think Bhuvi bowled well? I'll grant you after tea he bowled better but before lunch he was ordinary as well and Yadav was bowling absolute pies. Shami was your best by far. Hazelwood will do okay too with the uneven bounce late in the series.
nevada Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 SCG can' date=' and probably will, begin to break up. Our 4th innings should be fun![/quote'] Team India might finish this off in 3 innings itself!
Desi Cartman Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 #1. India wont be batting 4th, we will be batting 2nd and 3rd. Aussies will bat only once #2. As soon as our batters come out, the pitch will magically start to do its bit #3. Our bowling sucks monkey balls
