Well he was part of 2011 WC winning team. Only 4 players from that squad are still there and all of them have an A contract.

So was Yusuf Pathan and Piyush Chawla but they were in Grade C last year weren't they from the post above? He was dropped for a while in ODI's after the failure of project Raina,obviously one of our best T20 players and he was a surprising selection in the test series just when we thought his career was over....so how exactly is he Grade A??? Sholdn't grade A be a player who starts in all 3 formats? wouldn't have been this surprised even if Sir Jadeja got a grade A(even though that would be a joke) as he was in the starting line up in all 3 formats last year.

They had zilch to do with it. Raina is one of the best we have in LOIs and has been around since quite some time now. Almost 8 years since he made his debut.
