Well Kholi has really shown his captaincy credentials on this tour. Started out by making all sorts of unnecessary statements in the media. Then gets into a verbal altercation with Australians and gets fined. Now gets into a fight with his own teammate.

Too much kaaanfidence on Captain crocodile :cantstop:

Indian pacers Ishant Sharma and Varun Aaron arrived late at the Gabba on the fourth morning of the second Test against Australia even as their teammates were dramatically collapsing out in the middle, according to a report. A report in the Herald Sun claimed that Ishant and Aaron were among those who reached the Gabba late on the fourth morning on what proved to be the final day of the Test, which India lost by four wickets to concede a 0-2 lead to the Australians in the four-match series.

Who the feck leaked this to the media
Good question. Dressing room altercations happen all the time but i'm surprised that this incident in particular has been leaked to the media. And it's funny how a lot of fans jump to the conclusion that this was all true.Unless the source for this info is revealed,i won't be blaming Kohli. Conspiracy against Kohli?

How about this story? Dhawan gets hit on the hand, wants to go to bat but at the last moment decides otherwise. Kohli is requested and when he knows about this is irritated because his regular preparation phase is upset with Dhawan. There's no masala here but this could have happened too.

So, whats wrong in having some altercations within the dressing room? They haven't fought outside on the ground (unlke like on of the team :--D). Happens everywhere and with every team... Stupid media... that's it..

Is this even true?? Icfers are already posting sarcastically that see this our future captain and what not without even confirming on the report.. it's all media speculation as of now

Dhoni is the one who revealed the existence of UNREST in the team to the media. This is from HT 2day

Kohli-Dhawan spat: Dhoni had no business talking about 'unrest' - Dissention in the ranks is not something that a general makes public, especially not in the middle of a campaign. So what was MS Dhoni doing talking to the media about 'unrest' in the dressing room? He said it not just once but went on to repeat it at another press conference to make sure the message went home. -

^ because he was the one who was asked about it?He didnt mention fight.Unrest could be anything. Also said he could have handled situation better in hindsight, but lets ignore that

Unrest could be anything.
No it could not. He was clearly shooting his mouth off to the media and revealing a state of discord , turmoil , ill-will after the dhawan injury.
' date='but [b']lets ignore that
Of course . That is our motto. we are indian cricket fans after all . Another test defeat , Another series loss ....that is what keeps us going.

A few things 1) Seems to have quite a bit of masala. But even then it is likely leaked from within the dressing room which can never be a good thing for the confidence and morale of a team. Team unity seems to be disintegrating. 2) What genius came up with the idea of having a full throttle net session on the morning of the innings. At best you have a few easy throwdowns to get the feel. I was watching a post match Ozzie show and they were also saying that this whole proper net session is very weird as you not only want to avoid a possible injury on the day of a test match (which is what happened) but there really is not much improvement or form you can achieve an hour or 2 before a real match. This work is done before the match even starts. 3) Dhawan and Kohli need to get out of this wannabe macho phase
They can prepare however they want to prepare there is no right or wrong just whatever gives a certain person confidence.

You had many dressing rooms fights and arguments in past but it never came out' date='good ploy by dhoni though.[/quote'] I dont think there was anything wrong he said. He didnt say there was any fight.
