Cricket_Hacker Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 We should take teams by surprise and play 2 seamers+ Ash,Jaddu,Axar Seamers to bowl in power plays and death overs these spinners do not leak too many runs and will keep it tight,and on big australian grounds many will be caught in the deep trying to force the pace.Moreover,as we have seen,neither OZ pitches are trampolines nor NZ conditions are overly seam friendly

Pitches have been really flat and They will slow down more by then. Adopting the 96 SL strategy - nearly everyone seemed to bowl spin - Murali and Dharmasena, de Silva and Jayasuria, etc? I don't think it will work very well, but in ODIs our pacers may not have any impact either, except for Shami.

The pitches will definitely slow down and assist spin in knock out stage because they will be flat at the beginning of the tournament and therefore will get drier. I cant imagine curators leaving grass on the pitches. 3 spinners is not a bad idea. Hope we meet the white teams in KO stage as they are shite against spin. :P
