Well that advice clearly didnt work.But do you think India needs a hard task master who changes this culture of aaraam or just a bowling coach of some eminence would suffice?Coz I think even a great bowling mind cant help them,as these bowlers themeselves are mindless.

These other teams who are able to bowl to plans and maintain pressure, it isn't by accident. Absolutely no chance the Indian bowlers are in the nets bowling hour after hour and honing their skill. Nets will be a batting focus more than anything. Repeated changes in bowling coach would not remedy this. What people conveniently ignore is the likes of Joe Dawes were highly rated before becoming Indian bowling coach. What does that say for the Indian bowlers?

It is not like they do not have talent, but talent alone can take them just here but to compete and be successful at international level, they need to work hard. Umesh Yadav has become Rohit Sharma of bowlers. So much natural talent but performance is not getting better.

What does that say for the Indian bowlers? Yes, totally agree. Net practice happens because batsmen have to practice and for that bowlers have to bowl to them.

He is irritating but i think he has a point, if there was someone with better control to support shami when ever he slacked then we could have saved a test more or pulled off a win, the Indian batters did match the Aussies.

This will not happen while playing matches but out of them.[/quote'] Surely the bowlers know bowling a consistent line and lengh is a must, if they need someone to tell them that they shouldn't be playing international cricket. I think India became very impatient in Australia, Aussie bowlers know (like any bowler with an IQ above 60) patience is the key to test match bowling, India IMO gave up very early on their set plans and tried for wkts every ball instead of building pressure from both ends, everyone knows Australia like to score rapidly and stopping the scoring is the key to Australian wkts IMO.

express bowling Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Our fast bowlers remind me of a "blonde/ blond joke". A blonde/ blond came to a hair salon for a long time. She/he always used the same stylist. The lady/man always used ear phones. Every time , before a hair styling session, she/he clearly instructed the stylist not to touch the ear phones in any way. The stylist never did. This went on for many many sessions. Finally, the stylist was overcome by curiosity ...and removed the earphone. The lady/man started gasping for breath immediately and died after a while. The hair stylist, panic striken but even more curious, put the earphone , to her ear. She heard ," Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out.......". Our fast bowlers are very similar..... Unless they are instructed about the basics every ball they will bowl crap.
