zubinpepsi Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 reading through cricket websites and forums....i get the feeling that Aus are sure shot winners. even warner thinks they will be in the finals... i agree Aus have a good team... but they are not invincibles.. im bit perplexed how most think aus going to be the winners.. I hope they lose.. would they?? what do people here think..?

Not to mention they are team who tend to do well in tournaments so for me that makes them favourites but I also like chances of South Africa if their key players find form ..

Aussies are far from unbeatable. Overconfidence is an 'aussie' thing when it comes to cricket... so i wouldn't read too much into it. They are one of the favorites but to crown them winners even before the first ball is bowled is a bit immature.

They are one of the favorites and they have a good chance of winning the worldcup. I agree.. But to make arrogant claims and saying either England or SA will play the finals against them preposterous.. I hope they get beaten very badly.. Would be fun to see the face of warner

We lucky if we get out of the group stage. Asutralia, NZ and RSA are the favorites ... India outside chance if the tracks continue to be flatter than Keira Knightly.

It is not easy to play at home as the favorite and win it. However for Australia, they have won too many world cups to feel much pressure.
