MK55 Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Just to summarize what people have discussed: Bangladesh is leading Sri Lanka by a point with one match to go for both If both their matches are washed out, we will be facing Sri Lanka in QF If Bang's match is washed out and Sri Lanka wins, both will be tied at same points, since Bang is leading in run rate, Sri Lanka will have to win by approx 120 runs against Scotland if they bat first to finish ahead of Bang If Sri Lanka's match is washed out and Bang loses, again same points for both. But if Bang loses by approx 60-70 runs (if chasing) then Bang will still finish 4th But the weather seems fine... So we'll be facing Bang in QF and AUS in SF :cantstop:

We have Dhawan, VK, AR and MSD all in good touch. I wont count out BANG until the game is over. In ODI anything can happen. We will worry about AUS if we make it to SF.

Look how close SL came. With better bowling (spin), we have a decent opportunity. Frankly, SCG is the best place for us to meet Aus, if we had to meet them.

India has played SL in all World Cups starting 1992... 1992 - Game scheduled, but washed out in 2 balls 1996 - Jayasuriya on fire 1999 - Dada 183 at Taunton 2003 - Sachin masterclass 97 2007 - India knocked out of WC 2011 - India crowned Champions If India were to play SL, the only possibility seems FINALS... which means India has to beat BD and Aus... and SL has to beat SA and NZ... Don't think it is happening...
