How would the Kashmir issue be settled?

    • LOC will be turned into IB (International Border)

    • Ind will integrate Northern Areas and Azad Kashmir into Ind
      1
    • Both POK and J&K will become independent
      0
    • J&K will be occupied by Pak
      1
    • Pak will disintegrate into smaller states itself before anything on Kashmir can happen

How about 1 more option- never ever .
You need to answer this as if there were initiatives to solve this issue, how would it be settled. Again it is not about how should it be settled (because then we know where Ind and Pak stand), but how would it be settled (the most likely scenario, in your opinion, considering various variables)

India will occupy all of kashmir until It is liberated by an Army from Afghanistan.
Why would an army from Afganistan need to liberate a region that originally belongs to Ind? :dontknow:

Why would Ind need to oppress anyone in Kashmir? Those folks may have been misguided by false propaganda and may be the idea that wherever there is a Muslim majority, the area needs to be turned in to an Islamic state Going by that line of thinking, aren't Islamic states such as Pak officially oppressing people of other religion? And the so called fight against oppression is in fact a fight to oppress the minority (non Muslims) in Kashmir :hmmm:

Like in Balochistan? In 10 years time, a portion of Pakistan will have separated from the banana republic. That will get the ball rolling.

never status quo is in best interests of all parties involved except the native kashmiris
Status quo may not help as: * For India, LoC to be turned in to IB is a feasible option. With a settlement, they can reassign parts of the armed forces. Ind doesn't feel too connected with POK anyways * Jammu and Ladak would prefer to be a part of India so would love a formal end to this matter * The separatist in the Kashmir Valley may want power so prefer independence, however they are currently milking both India and Pak * Pak would want to occupy Kashmir. However status quo helps their army to sustain power in Pak by portraying Ind as the threat
