I personally wudnt do it , but lets not act as though its the biggest crime in the world .

I just meant that if killing animals is bad, it should be bad no matter what your intent - to eat them or just have fun. they might be equally bad in your opinion. Operative term is YOUR OPINION. Killing to eat animals is just the natural way of things and how it was intended to be. Hence the food chain. Practically any discussion is about opinions and I clearly said "for me". It is an opinion to think he did wrong or not. If killing to eat animals is natural, then I don't see why anyone who engages in that should take offense to what these two did.

Homo Sapiens were built to be omnivorous just like many other animals like bears, pigs, mice, many species of monkeys, etc. I guess you don't have an objection to these other animals or any carnivorous animals killing other animals. Now, the argument you might make is that human beings in most cases have a choice not to eat meat and I take it that you do not choose to eat it as a personal or religious choice. In the same manner, other human beings have chosen to eat meat as either due to their personal choice or their source of vital nutrients not present in vegetables. You should respect that too and not denigrate such individuals by equating killing for fun as the same as killing for nutrition.

Of course I respect that choice and I don't see how I have posted anything otherwise. However, for me, killing is killing (unless you have no other alternative).

To know that someone can have this mental make up of deriving happiness out of killing is what's shocking. I personally dont think hunting is fun but I dont think the lamb or the fish that I eat feels any less pain than a Rihno. I am very much against illegal hunting and it seems like these guys havent done that.

I am not saying that you are wrong, Im saying that everybody has a different standard for what is ok or not. Like some poster mentioned that there is culling required for certain animals hence some hunting is allowed. This uses culling as an opportunity for locals to make a living.

Like I said, we all have different standards. I might see this as stupid and not criminal, something I'd never do but if its legal and has "some" purpose then it doesnt change my opinion of McGrath. Same applies for Bali and Kurbaani which happens in India even now.
