Bangbros have 3 pts after 3 games and England have 2 after 4 games England have 2 games against Bangladesh and Afg.They will surely beat Afghans and end up with atleast 4 pts. Bangladesh have games againt NZ,England and Scotland. They will win against Scots and have 5 pts before England game.So if they manage to somehow slip past England,they will qualify ahead of England for QF!And will face us in the quarters

If the pitch has bounce, every delivery from the taller Eng bowlers could fly over BD batsmen heads and given as wides. They score 175 + 100 wides and they could have a competitive score.

Don't think Bangladesh can defeat England. I am hoping there's a washout in their game vs a non associate or England has a wash out to bring NRR into picture We are better than England on current form. But the last thing I would want is us dominating the group stage and then losing the QF in the first hour on a seamer friendly pitch. Hopefully England is knocked out.

Most certainly. Bangladesh cop a lot of stick but they have the potential to beat most teams. Its the mental side of the game where they suck horrendously. Opening partnership of Tamim and Anamul is slow but alright I'd say. Tamim needs to rediscover his 2010 form though, he's faded a lot since then. Mushfiqur is a very good batsman as is Shakib. Soumya looks a good prospect too Bowling wise Bangladesh are actually decent IMHO (I know they took only wicket vs Sri Lanka but still). Mashrafe is excellent and difficult to score off, Rubel is fast (or phaast), Taskin has potential and spin wise they've always been strong. Fielding isnt the best though and cost them big time vs Sri Lanka. On paper England shouldnt have any worries but this is England we're talking about, probably the most clueless team management in the competition who are so rigid and stuck in their ways. They sent bloody James Taylor ahead of Jos Buttler vs Scotland when they were 230 odd for 3, and despite a 200 opening partnership still barely reached 300 because they're still stuck in the 1980s mindset. None of Englands batsmen bar Root (who is a fine player),Moeen bhai and Buttler look capable of hitting a fluent 90 plus SR knock. The game is in Adelaide so batting shouldnt be difficult but the pitch will also help spin more, which suits Bangladesh. I'd give Bangladesh a 30-40 percent chance of winning, because Morgan is already potentially the worst England ODI captain performance - wise and England will probably insist on not playing Hales. I hope Bangladesh win tbh, I want as many of the Big 3 humiliated as possible so the lower teams can give them the middle finger over the 10 team WC nonsense

welcome to the site and good post! :) but i feel if england are rigid then bangladesh are stupid as their best batsmen come when they are 3 or 4 down even while chasing 300 :facepalm: i am expecting english bowling to blow them away and have comfortable chase.

Yes BD has potential to beat most Associates but not test playing nations. I just do not see BD beating any test playing nation in a 5 match ODI series played on neutral or away conditions. Yes maybe Pak or WI at home that too only because they have huge highs and lows. Also instead of dreaming of humiliation of Big 3 why dont you look inwards and dream of becoming one of big 3 or even the Big 1. Why should anyone come for your rescue ? Dont you have enough self worth to rise ? or do you always want to live under someones shadow ?
