Kindly check which state sends max number of people to IITs, look at top 10 cities for IITs...you will find Hyd and Vijaywada and probably Vizag too......or there are also will you claim Andhraiites cheat or fake something? And that too for decades... Sorry for the generalization , but am not way off . you have to be smart to even fake and survive in the Industry & am not surprised there is a section of them who work hard and make it to IITs etc , but a large majority simply have one moto ..which is to migrate to US , it just dosent matter how . Has completely ruined the industry Are you seriously denying that guys from Andhra dont fake their experience ? Call up the US consulate and ask them how they screen visa applications from Hyd . :winky:

But I dont know if justarrived works in Indian off shoring company but even big Indian companies send 3 -4 years experience guys to on site as managers or architects. you are not saying anything that we dont know already . I have been hopping companies looking for good work & it seems to be getting worse . The Indian companies I have worked with just dont want to move up the value chain . I dont think it will last for too long anyway .

I have some really good friends from Andhra , close enough friends to tell these things on their face . if there are 1000 cases of fake/fraud CVs , a safe bet is anywhere from 950-995 are from Andra , so please dont tell me others do it . in 10 years , I have personally come across not more than 2-3 such cases from other states .
velu Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 its more todo with andhra guys playing into the hands of visa consultants whih are unusually high in hyderabad/andhra.. even in bangalore most of the consultants have their base as hyderabad... usually these consultations give a fake offer and try to arrange a visa .. after reaching US , these guys needs to find other job by themselves .. bit risky business fake experience is altogether a big story :giggle:

But just saying about the work in IT. There are jobs which require skills in IT , but unfortunately our people are happy doing carp work .
aceofbase Posted March 5, 2015 Author Posted March 5, 2015 fake cvs or not, they keep USA running getting the job done.....Almost all Federal govt depts, state governments in every state, counties, all fortune 500 companies..basically every sphere where IT is needed, you will find them in thousands...From NY to LA, Seattle to Miami, Silicon valley,Dallas, Washington DC,Chicago Boston..list goes on.....Microsoft and google in their infinite wisdom have acknowldged this fact and hence you find hyderabad being there preferred destination...

Detonator Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 One of the biggest reasons why we are seeing a lot of graduates in Andra is that they understood the importantance of professional education much earlier than other states, esp the Naidu community. A good percentage of the doctors who graduated around 50's and 60's are from Andra, one of the reasons why Hyderabad is easily the best when comes to pharma and healthcare sector. During that time most other states preferred arts and commerce groups. So a typical middle class AP parent want their child to complete a professional education at any cost. Same situation as in TN but the trend came a little later. A greater number of professionally educated graduates will obviously cause an inflation in the job market. So a jobless graduate will be pushed to indulge in such activities due to the stiffer competition. which is why we are hearing stories about fake exp and visa. TN is no better. In early 2000's there was a huge crackdown by the TN Medical council, when they found out that there the number of doctors practicing are much more than the numbers registered, where a numerous fake doctors arrested. Faking of documents happen in every state and every sector, so it's unfair to criticize just one sector.
