Because each party has policies and ideologies that are arcane, borderline insane. Truth is majority are in between. Very much like how it works in USA. There are some fiscal policies of republicans people like, but majority of their social policies are rejected right away. So it is hard to pick side. But under congress there were mega mega scams happened. Those were seriously against the interest of nation. Until we reach such a state we have to raise our voice to correct these anamolies instead of asking other party to take over the country again over a matter like this. That government was overthrown brutally by people for obvious reasons. Let us not forget those reasons before contemplating on giving them another chance.

True....I don't support BJP there...but I really thought that was one off thingy ...specially with polls expected.But now they just seem to be in full flow. Supported Modi hoping he will pay more attention to development and keep these fundoos in their place.After all he did manage to remove thousands of religious structures away from main roads for progressIn Gujrat.Most of these were hindu temples.I really thought he would keep a tight leash on the chaddi dhaarees. Can't stand the face of that Rajnath Singh now...he looks like the face of the BJP govt now...rather than MOdi.Modi better rein in these Banwaadis ...or he will lose goodwill very soon.

There are somethings that cannot be touched in this day and age.Period,We are not China or Pakistan .Ban this Ban that...WT bloody Eff!

How would you rank the following issues (a) law and order (more of a state issue) (b) national security (internal and external) © the economy (growth and inflation and personal taxes and general cost of living) (d) corruption (scams at a national level and day to say corruption you face) (e) social issues apart from law and order (say related to homosexual rights etc etc ) the reason i ask if you appear to be an urban voter in India from the middle class.Somebody the BJP is actively targeting. Others too feel free to rank the parameters as per your preference.

Itihaas gavaah hai. Movie Ban - I don't think BJP asked Censor board to ban 50 shades of gray. There are lot of A movies released all year. Beef ban - Even Con party was agreed or ready to implement that. Documentary ban - Home ministry rushed to ban that fearing it shows country in wrong image. Others bans are done by Karnataka Govt which is Con party. These are minor things.
