aaron is a future prospect. needs to improve his control like yadav and his place is sealed in team
Bingo....McGrath was the master of control. He wasnt a bullet persay. Why did Pak always get owned? Cause Akthar sprayed his bowling all over the place.

Eff off dude. Not one, I repeat, not one Indian bowler has better bowling average than Shoaib in Tests n Odis. Your line and length with control legends bowlers like Srinath, Kapil n Zak are not even +5 average close to Shoaib. Pace is pace and you can't deny it. Also, since we are talking about Odis, some arrogant indian fans who do name calling of Tait, not one, I repeat, not one Indian bowler has better bowling average than Tait in Odis.

On topic' date=' you can teach Varun Aaron the line and length of Mohit but you can't teach Mohit the pace of Varun Aaron[/quote'] AAron is a grown ass man,the time to "teach" line and length is long gone, its all upto him.

International exposure and pressure is also another way of getting your line and length. He won't learn that in domestic dead pitches and that pressure. Steyn wasn't gun bowler till he got more exposure and coaching

Are u seriously suggesting he has got enough chances in the ODIs? Since he came back from that stress fracture he has played 4 complete ODIs, 3 ODIs in New Zealand where every bowler got smacked and he has had one bad performance against Bangladesh.

Whats wrong with you guys? Mohit has been superb for us ' date=' he is containing as well as taking wickets..What more Aaron could have done?[/quote'] Most are not debating if he should be in the playing 11. Its about him not even being considered in the squad and someone like Kulkarni (as backup) preferred over him in these conditions

sorry but if he gets wacked around in tests then i am afraid for his ODI prowess where his RPO is predictably well over 6.I would still have him over the likes of kulkarni because of the pitches here have favored bowlers who can extract bounce and the big grounds help too.

Its not like Mohit has done bad in any case. What's wrong with a tidy line and length bowler following up to the attacking pair of Shami & Yadav ? For the sake of variety, I think this is fine. One could make the case in Australia for the third seamer's slot where Cummins vs Hazlewood is on. I'm not comparing our seamers to theirs but simply the contest for third seamer is on these lines.

tbh I rather have Mohit going by form plus I am sure everyone is suggesting this way.. It adds variety to the attack Yadav- Express pace and Swing Shami- Pace and bounce Mohit- Line and Length The problem is our backup... What in the world is Dhaval Kulkarni doing their ahead of Varun

Shoaib jizzes over anything fast regardless of quality just like himself routinely getting smashed all over the park.
and despite being thrashed he averages better than any Indian pacer in history.
