More interested to hit boundaries and block all the remaining balls. This approach is like WI players and is very poor from Rohit. No wonder he is stuck around 10 runs for around 6-7 overs evey match and suddenly when good ball comes in, gets out or gets impatient due to lack of boundaries, has brainfart and throws it away. Rohit has to rotate strike like Kohli or Rahane. Otherwise his poor scores will continue in next few matches also.

Rohit scored 30 out of 64 runs in boundaries less than 50%, Dhawan 74 out of 100 74%, Rahane 24 out 33 runs in boundaries about 66%, Kohli 22 out 44 50%. Not defending him but he has the least amount of runs in boundaries in today's match which shows that he was not just hitting the boundaries.

Then he started hitting boundaries etc. Strike rotation was better after 35 runs or so. Iam more interested in seeing % dotballs than boundaries. I believed they showed it durkng the match. It was awfully high at close to 50%.A player who rotates strike well in general will have less dot ball %.

Rohit is beyond measurement...His contribution is beyond petty thing like numbers...If opposition bats first, they need to consider the RS factor....invariably they aim for 400+ and end up getting lower than what they could - that difference is due to RS. These are never captured by traditional old school statistics. When bowling to RS, opposition always concentrates on him....this allows lesser mortals to escape wrath of opposition and ease themselves while RS humors opposition...He deliberately tries to show that he is poking at a ball outside off but in his mind computer, he knows he will not even touch the ball...Bowler feels he bowled a great ball and the comedy continues... Many refer to the word talent for RS. It is absolutely false. He is a GENIUS Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see. RS

Lesser mortals can never comprehend this. To give an analogy, Viv Richards ( Hanuman ) and Bradman ( Garud) are asked to coach Rohit ( HIM ) after Rohit got out ( deliberately to maintain balance in Universe ) to a Steyn outswinger ( Brahmastra) .
