Even this would be reluctant. I will not support them to beat Aus because Pakistan does not deserve to be in the semis and I want our rivals out asap. Shocking how some people want them through, they are rubbish I know but there is still a SMALL CHANCE they could knock us out like any other team in the semis. I would rather go out to Aus or anyone for that matter NOT Pak. agree
Number Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Australia. If Pak can beat Aus then they can also beat us. The streak is not a thumb rule. So I'd rather lose to Aus. Also beating Aus in their ground on world stage will be something to be proud of for many years.

I am not a fan of either of these sides and as far as I'm concerned, we have made it to the semi's so let us just enjoy this match and let these 2 sides go at each other. I wouldn't have said this at the start of the WC but right now, I like our chances against any side if our quickies keep up the excellent work... Even Dhoni sounded surprised when asked about his quicks and their consistency during this tourney at the toss by Nasser Hussain.

I have a contrarian opinion that we can give a very good game to Australia at SCG if our bowling maintains current form and batting steps up. That, and don't want the possbility of losing to Pakistan in the SF and also losing the bragging rights in cricket banter with padosis. Let us meet them again in 2016 T20WC and 2019 CWC. Until then, let the mauka meme live on.
