Pakistan has done so much for Afghan cricket and then the fact that so many Afghans are refugees in Pakistan is another thing. Afghan cricket would be nothing without Pakistan's support. Both Bengalis (to both India and Pakistan) and Afghans are on the wrong track in my opinion. Both being highly ungrateful. Anyway, this article clearly seems to be Indian Propaganda. Just because you helped them does not mean you treat Afghanistan like a brothel -- which you visit, hump them however you want, dump them and get away from there. This is what the Afghans dont like.

Gollum Posted March 24, 2015 Author Posted March 24, 2015 RAW/Indian workers/GOI have invested heavily in developing Afghanistan infrastructure at great personal risk and have also suffered a lot of casualties. We have good network there and have won the trust and friendship of the locals. BCCI should also help the Afghan cricket board and promote more goodwill among their public, stop thinking about money for once FFS. Afghanistan is a potential ally for us. Maldives is more or less under our watchful eyes(Thanks to Congress for once).Bhutan is always there with us and with NDA looking to make inroads in Nepal(which surprisingly has a higher % of Hindus than us) we may be in the best position w.r.t our SAARC neighbors in a long long time.60 years of Congress misrule,shortsightedness and other unfortunate events have damaged our relations with Lanka and Bangladesh beyond repair. Pakistan will never mend its ways. That leaves us with only these 4 countries to counter China/Pakistan.

India did help the Bengali's freedom movement, but expecting them to be grateful for it is bit OTT.[/quote'] Kindly quote another event in history where a country sacrificed its men to liberate another country from oppressors without any intention of occupying/colonizing that country in the future. 1971 was the most selfless act by any country in modern history where India condemned 1000s of its valiant children to death to do the right thing.Also we spent valuable resources to train the Mukti Bahini, rebels, guerrilla fighters and absorbed 10 million refugees(official figure) which for an impoverished country is a pretty large hearted gesture. We don't expect Bangladesh to be our slaves for that, just an iota of gratitude will do instead of downplaying our help/denying the holocaust. Worse still India is the most hated country in Bangladesh and majority(except a few grateful communists,Awami League supporters and minority Hindus) love Pakistan and have forgiven them for their human rights violations in spite of the fact that Pakistan is yet to tender an apology, forget a full scale reconciliation. India bashing, murder of India sympathizers and terrorizing our villagers in close proximity to the border seem to be their favorite passtime. Quit being an apologist, being grateful is the least humane thing they can do.
