I'm speaking in General - not a dig at Pakistanis or Indians. Why would you or I be on an internet forum and frantically check for updates? - for me a forum like this fills the void of real friends with similar interest. Also, it makes me feel like my opinions matter - like right now I'm typing up an opinion. People have reasons... Whatever floats the boat.

In fact, they have nothing to praise about. The media coverage outside of Pakistan doesn't do them any favors either. Usually that is a give away. They're famously known for certain someone being found very close to their military training facility.

Although I've not pretended to be of another nation, I've spent A LOT of time on forums. Having spent some time off the forums, I came to realize the reason - at least for myself. It was because I was in denial of learning new things, making friends who didn't believe in what I did. To me cricket was the best sport on this planet, Sachin was the greatest sportsperson on this planet. ICF was like an addiction. It validated that I was not the only one with a hangover of cricket. Then one day I slowly walked away from forums. Maybe matured a little too. People on the internet mattered less and less to me. I'm from an era where my $ICF 19B was like the #2 most on this site at some point. Then again, why am I on forums again right now? :omg:
