YCCC Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 My favorite County team for over a decade. Strong strong batting if no England games and Pujara will have to fight it out Lyth Leez Pujara Root Ballance Bairstow Rashid Bresnan Plunkett Patterson Brooks Pujara is guaranteed to play every game as half of these are with England while he's here. Would have preferred Khan personally for his experience but can understand him wanting to play for his country. Hoping the season is rained out until the England lads come back anyway :two_thumbs_up:
Number Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Why do people keep talking about early English summer and ball swinging more at that time ? Why does this happen usually ?

maniac Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Great news ...i though chepu just like mooli would do well in England bcoz he has the patience to survive the conditions and cash in when things get easier....but wasn't the case, this should do him a world of good
BeautifulGame Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 one more paki in the guise of an Englishman?? Why? He is just saying that becoz the Yorkshire team will be massively dismantled during England tour to WI as half the Eng side is made up of Yorkshire players.
YCCC Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 one more paki in the guise of an Englishman?? Oi I'm not from Bradford!

Yorkshire are the defending champs.. dont they have backups? Will it not be exciting to see new talent emerge even if it can lead to one or more defeats?
BeautifulGame Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 so? Yorkshire are the defending champs.. dont they have backups? Will it not be exciting to see new talent even if it can lead to one or more defeats? Maybe becoz they prefer to win the championships again? Thats his personnel choice no? No one wants to see 5 -6 youngsters at the same time and their club getting beaten .But how does that make him a Paki?

YCCC Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Why do people keep talking about early English summer and ball swinging more at that time ? Why does this happen usually ? It seams more than it swings really, on the fresh, grassy pitches. It's usually far too cold to swing
VRV Singh Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 I think, looking at Yorkshire's fixtures, Pujara should get to play five Championship games if he gets clearance to play on the 12th, though maybe Finch will be back in time for the last game. He played three games for Derbyshire last season.
BeautifulGame Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 It seams more than it swings really' date=' on the fresh, grassy pitches. It's usually far too cold to swing[/quote'] How much of the early season actually get disrupted by Rain?

No one wants to see 5 -6 youngsters at the same time and their club getting beaten .But how does that make him a Paki? half the games washed out for Yorkshire doesnt mean that they can win the rest of the games and win the championship again... Also see YCCC's post and I understood as him not wanting Pujara to get many games

No one wants to see 5 -6 youngsters at the same time and their club getting beaten .But how does that make him a Paki? Pretty much. I'm proud of our record of developing our own players rather than stealing them from other counties (Notts I'm looking at you). But I believe a team of 18-20 year olds would be slaughtered every game, adversely affecting their development
PBN Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Good for Chintu. :two_thumbs_up: He would have been just warming the bench in the IPL even if he had gotten picked in the auction.
YCCC Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 How much of the early season actually get disrupted by Rain? It varies. Sometimes we get a warm dry spring and a crap midsummer like 2012 or a wet spring and a dry summer as was the case last year. The British weather doesn't really follow a set pattern
G_B_ Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 YCCC is certainly not a pakistan supporter (not that there is anything wrong with that) He appears to be yorkshire through and through....
