Mariyam Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 WC and Olympics are the pinnacle of sporting events. It is absurd to even compare these events to local domestic sporting league. Olympics? In terms of TV viewership, its quite likely that the IPL would boast of better numbers.

Reducing World Cup to a 10 team tourney is a step in the right direction as it will reduce poor cricket.

vipin Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 More easygoing fun but not quite the same kind of nerve wrecking excitement. In IPL, I don't really care which team wins, but in the WC i really did, and that made every moment of it a lot more significant.
