Austin 3:!6 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Who you think is better in a belter of a track? I think I know the answer
vvvslaxman Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Don't go by current form. Kohli can turn it on big as well. He made like 52 ball 100 against OZzies right?
BeautifulGame Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Kohli . But Rohit is much better clean hitter in death Overs
vvvslaxman Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Kohli . But Rohit is much better clean hitter in death Overs Rohit is a high risk taker. He will definitely give few chances. Kohli often plays chanceless knocks
Pagalpanti Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Only place where Kohli falls behind Rohit is if they both are set Rohit really makes it a big one where as Kohli hardly does it
Austin 3:!6 Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 Kohli's knocks seems like well thought out and calculated. But Rohit's innings always seems like spontaneous like a poetry in motion.
adi B Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Most of Kohli's intl runs have come on flat decks as well.Kohli sh1ts over nohit on any deck ,I won't go by the ipl matches lol
adi B Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 One thing I'll give to nohit is that he goes nuts after scoring a 100 or in the last few overs in t20s or one days
MK55 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Don't go by current form. Kohli can turn it on big as well. He made like 52 ball 100 against OZzies right? I am wondering when we'll get to see that kind of innings again. Its been a very long time. At least Rohit has got some quick scores intermittently. Kohli is not hitting it big these days. Too restrained. Needs to let go a bit at least in T20s. :banghead:
CG Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Rohit Has more shots and can clear the field .Kohli square of offside can be contained by bowling the length which is not drivable. So i would go with rohit.
rkt.india Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Kohli's weak zone in T20s is hitting outside off and he can be easily restricted if you bowl there. Bowl him at the stumps, he will thrash you. Not talking about Tests or ODIs.
rkt.india Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Rohit is a high risk taker. He will definitely give few chances. Kohli often plays chanceless knocks and that game does not work much in T20s. T20 is all about taking chances. Like yesterday, he played safely while ask was to take chances and hit but he was picking singles.
vvvslaxman Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 and that game does not work much in T20s. T20 is all about taking chances. Like yesterday' date=' he played safely while ask was to take chances and hit but he was picking singles.[/quote'] Yes in T20 he is not like that. In one dayers his style suits a lot. Rotate strike for 10 or 15 overs and explode.
Number Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Kohli is better on any track. Sharma can get out any time by playing loose shot or brainfart. Kohli once set takes complete charge.
velu Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Kohli is better on any track. Sharma can get out any time by playing loose shot or brainfart. Kohli once set takes complete charge. IF rohit is set then nothing can stop him
vvvslaxman Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 IF rohit is set then nothing can stop him Rohit hardly gets set :cantstop: . His best innings of his career came this year. 138 in Australia. Kohli produced such innings much earlier in his career.
vipin Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Kohli needs to improve his play on the back foot. And add some shuffle shots.
Pagalpanti Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 People who think Kohli's game is not suited for t20's need to just check the t20 rankings. He takes responsibility of anchoring the innings with Gayle and AB around, IMO he should shed the cautious approach and play his natural game.
