Texan Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 To add to the "deewar ko direct laga to 6, bahar gaya to out", we had an addendum. There was a four storey building just behind this deewar. The rule was such that building ko direct laga and ball field ke andar return aaya to 6, otherwise out. As it happened, we needed 6 to win of the last ball and I tried to aim my shot at the building high enough so that it bounces back on the field. But I timed the ball much better than I anticipated...... and the result was that the ball cleared the fenced, even went over the 4 storey building and onto the road on the opposite side of the building. OUT! :((

If ball goes to old man's house in the afternoon, better try to climb into his house as he is sleeping and will not give himself. If any house window breaks, evacuate the field right away. When one player decides to bring water from his house, everyone starts designating number for the themselves in the order they will get to drink the water. Winners to bat in the next game

Texan Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 One more - Because stumps were represented by stones in underarm cricket, hit wicket was not out unless you stepped on the stone while batting. :cantstop: I used to bat sometimes from behind the stumps. :haha:
