DPS RK Puram is one of the top schools in India, they trained him well. Kudos to the guy, but it is hardly an out of the world achievement.

I am not trying to take anything away from the guy, but it is something you expect. I scored 85% in boards without even caring about the exams. It's not as hard as people think it is.

Every DPS RK Puram friend of mine scored 95+% (that's 4/4). That school is one heck of a facility, and anyone with some motivation is trained as well as he can be with every little detail covered.

Understanding the teacher's class while reading everything in braille codes, trying to visualize the concepts in subjects like computer science and telling those to a scribe isn't as easy as you think. When you consider he scored more than, say 70% of the total students with eyesight is a commendable achievement. Please don't disrespect with snide remarks.

Every board In India does it make easy.Even from where I have passed it(Gujarat board) is also generous in marking.. But still for a blind person its not easy as much as we think. Its career deciding year and everything is on your head.

Books can just be a reference to something you already know. I didn't mean to be disrespectful, but people are underestimating the impact training methods can have these days. He is an inspiration for sure, but no more an inspiration than tens of people you see everyday. One of my current friends was selling momos in Delhi roads aged 17, today in mid 20s, he owns the most prestigious Momo chain called Chalte Firte Momoms in Delhi. And there are several such inspiring people around us we choose to ignore because the only achievement for us is scoring bla bla percentage in boards. I honestly find CBSE results and conclusions we draw from them as something too overrated. Anyone with a little motivation and proper facilities is scoring 90% these day, so not really that big a deal.

sourab10forever Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 U also have to consider the fact that If u are blind from birth,then it is a very very difficult to study/memorise cuz u can't make the imaginary picture in ur head since u have never seen it. He,who can't imagine a red when he hears "red",made a remarkable achievement by getting 92% or so.:hatsoff:
