Dont think NZ had great results during his captaincy tenure Captain's preference is always asked before inviting different coaches in front of Appointing committee, would rather listen to captain of the Indian team than any fans, besides i don't think even Gary Kirsten was ever a captain or won a world cup during his playing days. Once we go down this line of thinking then anyone and everyone can be disqualified by using a suitable metric. Besides, Vettori is just one recommendation among others who will be discussed, interviewed and finally appointed by the committee.

And BCCI already has 5 years contract with MRF pace foundations and multiple 30 day camps are being scheduled for our bowlers and Mcgrath attends and coaches these bowlers. The only fast bowlers we have unearthed are from Far away places like Umesh Yadav from Vidharba, Varun Aaron from Jharkhand and Shami from Sahaspur UP to a Calcutta club and later indentified by Sourav Ganguly who saw him in U-22 nets and was shocked to hear that such a bowler is in reserves and a phone call by Ganguly to CAB ensured that Shami got into Bengal's under-22 squad.
Desi Cartman Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I'm glad that this will keep Mr full Monty out of the commentator box for a while. On a serious note, wtf were BCCI doing for the last few months. It seems like they haven't even started the process, maybe because they were busy watching IPL.
