England are down since last year, but still stealing wins

3 against India 1 against WI 1 against NZ they are in very bad form and the team morale took a beating, but they are somehow able to sneak wins here and there and more than saving their faces. They had an inferior team to NZ, but still won the first game I really admire this.. I wont be surprised if they win 1 odd game in the next ashes despite losing the series.

Whats to admire? They have scraped these wins at home. They lost to a settled SL side at home. If India was a 2 test series, we'd have also won :((

Lets be frank they trashed us in those 3 test wins. I remember them fresh in the memory. It was an annihilation. I would not call that sneaking wins. Now you can say things have gone tits up for England on and off the field. But they are still a very competent side at home. Lets keep in mind this Nz side drew 1-1 in the UAE v Pakistan while Australia were blanked 2-0.

True,this nzl side is a damn good side.they drew a 3 match series in uae and could have easily won the second test as well. England would be disappointed but they need to look at the positves
